Xander and Mercedes both know firsthand what it feels like to be in total control.
The question is…
who really holds all of the power?
Xander Boone has never had a problem going after what he wants. In fact, he has built his life around doing just that. And he has a rather impressive track record. But Xander finds himself up against his biggest challenge yet.
As fate would have it, Xander’s greatest desire is a woman who has always been off limits to him. One he wants more than his next breath. Nothing about her is easy, but then again, things that are worth it never are.
So, when the perfect opportunity presents itself, Xander knows it’s time to call in a favor.
Mercedes Bryant believes there is only one way to do something. She also knows what Xander wants isn’t possible. But she‘s about to learn that you shouldn’t always believe what you think you see.
And Xander is going to be the one to teach her that lesson
My Review: 5 of 5 stars FIVE FANFREAKINGSTASTIC STARS!!!! Well HOLY HOT HELL this book was SMOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKIN! You got to see more of Logan and Sam and Mercedes and Xander. We’ve met him briefly before in Devotion (Club Destiny) and also in Travis (Alluring Indulgence).
OH MA GAWD! Xander Boone is sex on a stick I am convinced! Like all other of Nicole Edwards books I surely was not disappointed in this one. DOM V’s DOMME, a battle of all battles and it is SOOOOO Friggin HOT! Who will ultimately win Xander or Mercedes? I absolutely loved this book, super hot, sexy, wraps your feelings around its little itty bitty finger that you know you’ll find with every Nicole Edwards story. I love the way she brings emotions for every character up and front and each book and continues to develop new ones to enable the stories to evolve and continue. A Must Read!
About Nicole Edwards:
She is the author of the Club Destiny and Alluring Indulgence series and working on more projects at this timeI’ve never been one to talk much about myself. It’s difficult, but as the days go by, I’m learning to open up a little. So, I’m going to give it a shot here…
Ever since I was young, I’ve enjoyed writing. When I was a teenager, I kept a journal. I did that until several years ago, I think. And if I wasn’t writing down my thoughts, I was coming up with scenes in my head for various characters who would come and go for whatever reasons. And now, here I am, all these years later, spending my days doing what I love the most. Writing is my full-time job, but it is also my hobby. My creative outlet. It is a true blessing that I have been allowed to do this. I decided to give myself over to writing full-time in December of 2012 and I haven’t looked back since. After spending nearly 13 years in the corporate world, it took me a little while to get used to working for myself, but I have to say, I’m loving every second of it.
If I’m not writing, I’m reading. Every single day. My TBR (to be read) list is long and it continues to grow each day thanks to the amazing authors who continue to publish books that we can’t get enough of. If you look at my TBR, you’ll find books by traditional and independent authors alike. My love of reading started back around a decade ago when I started reading Lora Leigh. Yes, if you want hot, check her out. Some of my other favorites include J.R. Ward, Suzanne Brockmann, Jayne Rylon, Maya Banks, Sylvia Day, Lorelei James, Lori Foster, Jill Shalvis, Jaci Burton, Carly Phillips and the list goes on and on and on.
An interesting fact about me… I don’t watch television. Well, aside from the occasional news channel or some home improvement show from time to time. I love movies, but I rarely go see them. I think since I picked up a book, all else has faded away and if I have any spare time whatsoever, I’m going to use it to do what I love.
