I’ll be honest with you—I’m no hero. Sure, the media tries to brand every Navy SEAL as some kind of Batman dressed in cammies. There’s even a line in one of our cadences: Superman is the man of steel, he ain’t no match for Navy SEAL. You’ve seen the movies—we’re infallible, invaluable, invincible. But that night, the one you read about in the papers … all I really wanted to do was get laid.
One harmless fuck with an Aruban whore, no strings attached. I picked her out of a lineup—wild, dark hair, long legs and a crooked smile. After she sucked me off, I relaxed back onto the creaky, cum-stained cot, thankful for the blissful moments she gave me when I actually forgot for a second the faces of my buddies who died because I made the wrong call, the tears of the children I couldn’t save, and the eyes of the enemies I slaughtered during their last seconds of life.
But before I left, her hazel eyes peered into my soul. She whispered in a distinct Californian accent, “My name is Annie Hamilton. I’m an American citizen. I was kidnapped on spring break five years ago. You’re my last hope. Please save me.”
One desperate plea. This wasn’t a Hollywood blockbuster or a New York Times best-selling thriller. I knew this time there was no room for excuses, no margin for errors. I had one chance to put on the cape and be her hero.

Heather’s 5 Star Review!☆☆☆☆☆
The story of Annie Hamilton is one that touches my heart. Sex trafficking is sadly something that happens everywhere and way more then we all know of. This book tells Annie story. How she took a chance on a man she prayed she could trust to rescue her and her 3 year old son.
Patrick Walsh walked into a brothel one day looking for some female company with no strings attached. Never in a million years did he expect who he stumbled across. Annie Hamilton, hometown sweetheart who went missing from a cruise ship 5 years earlier. Annie has been through a lot. She’s been beaten, raped, forced into a heroine addiction and has a 3 year old son whom her pimp uses to keep her the there. She’s desperate to find help. That help walks in and picks her up out of a line up full of woman. Can she trust this man with her secret? Can she trust this man to believe her? Will he be able to save her? Annie tries to show Pat that she is who she says she is without making it obvious. Still he doesn’t believe her and leaves. But what he didn’t expect is the fact that he can’t stop thinking about her. He does some research and comes to the conclusion that this lady is in fact the missing Annie Hamilton. How is it that he just stumbled across her one day by sheer accident but there have been professionals looking for her for 5 years with no luck or leads?
Annie thinking…… “I didn’t want to come down from this high, and for once I wasn’t talking about the heroine, i was talking about the high of hope.”
As the story progresses and some truths come out I am truly mortified for Annie. How could her father do what he did? What about her mother? There is so much to this story. Every page is packed full. It will literally keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more. I could not put this book down. Listening to Annie tell her story is so heart breaking. The hope she must have had just to be left behind with no hope at all. That is until Pat found her. I’m so glad that he did. Pat and his friends went rogue to save Annie and her son. I’m going to leave it at this. I’m always afraid I’m going to give away too much information in my excitement people about a new book I just fell in love with. That’s exactly how I feel too. I fell totally in love with this story. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
