What a fast paced , real life, rip your heart out, put you back together and then rip your heart out all over again simply amazingly beautiful conclusion for Jackson and Catherine! Just WOW!

We all remember how Beloved ended right?  It left you broken.  Literally BROKEN!  Do you think Michaels, could give us a breather?  Maybe put us in a five minute time out?  Of course not!  There is no fun in that now is there?

I’ve twiddled my thumbs because I do not want to spoil one single thing with my review.   So I start with a few words that come to mind as I think about what I’ve read.

Un-relentless Loyalty

Devotion

Love

Truth

REAL

We all know how stubborn our Jackson is, but we also know how much Catherine loves him and no matter how hard he pushes, she isn’t going anywhere.  She isn’t one to leave someone’s side when they need her the most even though he won’t admit he needs anyone.  But how long can she hold on?   Will they both survive the road ahead when pasts are revealed?

Catherine has grown so much from what we knew in the beginning of Beloved.  She wasn’t the same girl a few months ago.   She knows she deserves more and that includes someone walking away and not looking back.   That someone includes Jackson.

Can they overcome?  Will one walk away again and not look back??  Will Jackson let go….of himself, of the memories, of the pain?

“I love you deeply.  I love you with every breath I take.  I’ve made mistakes.  I’ve fucked up.  I know this, but love me.  Don’t give up on us”

Of course, our favorites pop back in (ok not so favorites).   Neil and Piper back in action but do they get dished out a huge pile of shit they deserve?  You know their shenanigans don’t ever stop.  But does Neil, have a secret causing him to be the way he is.  Piper? Ehhh we know she’s just a total twunt, but….

“Fucking Piper. One Day, karma is going to throat punch her and I’m going to laugh”    That’s right, we all want that laugh!  Hopefully Karma comes knocking on her door and fast.

I love how Ash, Tay and Gretchen rocked in this book we saw more of them and the stories of the guys, seriously the devotion, dedication and loyalty was spot on for those who served and sacrificed to save others really hit home in this one for me as the realness of this book is out of this world.  You will laugh, you will cry, and you’ll cry some more through this entire book.  Corinne really hit a home run with this conclusion of their story for sure.   Beloved and Beholden will be one of those stories I will never forget.  If I could give it 10 stars I would.  Literally HOME RUN!

Now, I’m sitting here reeling over hearing the others stories, because my oh my, what a story they have to tell!
