I lie to survive.
Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.
Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.
I kill for a living.
Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I’ve played her game for far too long, but not anymore. Now I think it’s time we play mine.
*18+ due to sexual content, strong language and violence.
Sheras Review – 5 of 5 Amazing Stars!
You know when you read an Author’s book and you are like, “how the hell can she top that, that was ahhhmazing”? That’s what I was like after reading The Tear Asunder Series. That series rocked my world, ripped my heart out, broke me and put me back together again. Then she releases Perfect Chaos, which is Deck and Georgie’s story and book one Unyielding series. Well Holy Mother of all things goodness, I am pretty sure Deck’s story is my most favorite yet! I’ve been waiting for this sexy alpha male to reveal his story and this book was nothing short of pure brilliance!
Georgie is so damn sassy she could pass as my twin. Her life is moving along, perfect until her family gets the news no one wants to hear, when a loved one is in the military. The person who breaks the news, is the one who Georgie has been in love with for well, like ever and her world explodes. After her brother’s death, Georgie isn’t Georgie anymore. She lives a little crazy and sure does have a lot of secrets, things that make you say holy wow!
“Everything Id made into a neat and tidy place was no longer. It was all gone. Nothing would be perfect again. My world had just burst open, and I was bleeding. It hurt. God, it hurt”
Deck is owns a security company and has seen and done many things that no one should ever have to do, all comes with the territory. Deck has always had feelings for Georgie and even when hes not there to watch over there, he is always watching. He makes sure of it, thanks to his men and his security company. He doesn’t believe he is deserving of anything good, and that includes the love of another. Deck is also hiding a shocking secret, one that changes everything. But will Georgie be what saves him from it all?
“She gave me the light to keep coming back. To crawl away from the evil I was surrounded by, the nightmares, the coldness, and she made me human again. She kept bringing me back here – to her”
Will they give into their feelings for one another? Will secrets they are both hiding tear them apart forever or will they both open up to their worlds around them and try to fix what is broken?
This book, as with the rest of Nashoda’s books will keep you hooked, no pee breaks, no food, nothing but READING! You will not want to put it down. You will be kept on the edge of your seat and a twist around every curve. You will laugh, we all know Georgie and Deck both have sassy smart mouths, you will certainly cry and most definitely have moments where your heart is just splintering inside of you.
Perfect Chaos is a HOT, Emotional all inclusive FIVE STAR read! If you haven’t read any of Nashoda’s books I suggest you go back and start at the beginning. I promise she will not disappoint! Her writing is captivating and flawless always giving you just what you need to know, when you need to know it. The character development is beyond phenomenal. I can’t wait for the next book.
