The prey becomes the predator.
Love. That cursed four-letter word no longer belongs in Bryna’s vocabulary. The only four-letter word she knows now is gold.
She’s well acquainted with that one. And that’s exactly what she plans to do. She’s no longer the golden girl, and when she meets a businessman who promises everything she could ever want from the arrangement, she intends to get her money’s worth.
Follow the conclusion to Bryna’s gold digging story in this scandalizing, duplicitous second book to the USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde’s All That Glitters series.

Gold is the follow up to K.A. Linde’s Diamonds in the All That Glitters Series. You get it all with these books. Tons of angst, indulgence, guilty pleasures and deceit. There were so many twists and turns you won’t see coming.
Bryna is definitely a girl who has her hands full. Between school, men and keeping up with the glitz and glam she is running ramped. The Queen B never rests. She’s got all these men in her life. Gates, her longtime friend, Pace her jerkwad of a stepbrother, Eric who she thinks is a total douche for multiple reasons and a family she doesn’t want. Let’s not forget her attraction to these sexy older men who make her forget. They give the life she wants. Until her heart or what she thinks is her heart gets involved and then I think it confuses her. When one basically tears it out and stomps on it, she’s left feeling everyone is like that. When one comes along that truly wants to give her everything she can’t see past the past. This girl is cold and calculating. She is a taker and a tosser.
Bri is one of those girls that I want to slap in the face for her stupidity and at the same time I envy. The girl has everything. But her jaded and broken heart is something I wouldn’t want. I mean at points this girl seriously pissed me off to no end. But, those are the type of heroines that draw me in. I really did want to see her happy. I thought she may have found it. Then because of her past, the Diamonds are shattered but that was the point where Bri realized what she had been doing this entire time was wrong. THAT was the point the story turned and you saw the real Bryna. She found her heart, now she just needed to right her wrongs and there definitely is no better feeling when and if you are able to do that.
The question is.. Can a gold digger every truly change? Can the Queen step off her pedestal? Will she find the true love she really deserves that is right in front of her or keep herself protected in her ice hard shell?
I loved the concept of the story. I was drawn in to so many of the characters in both books. What can I say? I like a sexy, wealthy, powerful man. The books aren’t predicable that is for sure. Just when you think you know what’s coming next, you’ll get slapped with a surprise. I loved both books. I thought they were well written in true K.A. Linde fashion and I devoured them both in a day. 4 Stars for these bits of deliciousness morsels I had the pleasure of reading!

“Hey,” she said to the deliveryman.
“Package for Bri. Is that you?”
“The one and only.”
She scrawled her name on the line and took a small box from him. After what the last package had contained, she couldn’t control her excitement as she tore into the wrapping. When she saw the label, she bit her lip in delight.
Inside was a black strappy bra and thong set, plus the garter belt and stockings. It even contained the matching black leather paddle. Her heart fluttered. She had always been a La Perla girl, but Agent Provocateur was overtly sexual and suited her very nature.
Without a second thought, she grabbed her phone and dialed his number.
“Hey,” she breathed lightly into the phone when he answered.
“Bri.” He sounded happy to hear from her.
“Where and when do I get to wear my present?”
He laughed. “It’s good to hear you got it. Straight to the point.”
“Well, I’ll be in town in two weeks. Pack a bag. I think, this time, you won’t be leaving at the end of the night.”
