reviewReview by Kristin ~ 5 out of 5 stars!

We met Ty and AnnaBeth in Alluring Surrender but this is their book. I was super excited to hear that we’d be able to find out the history and what happened after their blow-up in Alluring Surrender!!

Ty Boudreaux is simple man with an amazing heart. He’s a paramedic with his best friend, and AnnaBeth’s sister, Tifanie. He works hard and plays hard. He’s no stranger to women but he’s ready to settle down and find love. He just didn’t plan to fall for his best friend’s little sister.

AnnaBeth Bellaforte is a politician’s daughter through and through. She knows that with her sister out of the family her future has been decided by their parents. She is going to marry someone with a future in politics. Someone that she can help just by being a Bellaforte. She did not intend to fall for the blue collar best friend of her estranged sister before her parents could marry her off.

Ty and AB have a secret romance for months before Ty wants more and AB wants out. She may be in love with Ty but sometimes love isn’t enough. Social status and politics dictate she cannot under any circumstances be with Ty for the long haul right?

“You can’t go backwards, child. Only forward. Embrace this second chance you’ve been give. There will be times you two fight. You’re very different and that’s going to cause some disagreements. You’ll have some outright terrible fights. Just make sure you always make up. Respect each other and learn that both you will have to compromise. You’re a strong woman.”

Watch as the blue collar hottie fights for what he knows in his heart should be his! Can love overcome what social rules dictate? What will AnnaBeth’s family think of another daughter abandoning “the plan”?

This book was absolutely amazing!! There was the perfect amount of alpha hottness and drool worthy romance. You could feel the tension between Ty and AB through out the whole book. I can’t wait for more in this series!!!
