We met Anna and Logan in the Men of Honor Series and this is their book. Their book was everything I had hoped for and then some hands down! If you have read the Men of Honor Series you know what Anna went through (and she went through A LOT). This book proves time and again how strong that girl really is.
Early on it’s very apparent that Logan and Anna have an undeniable connection. Anna finds comfort and love in Logan and Logan finds the quiet peace that he craves in Anna. Their relationship is more than young love, it’s more than friendship, it’s true, honest soul mates.
“My Anna,” he murmurs. “Tell me, baby, tell me you’re my Anna.”
“I’m your Anna, “ I whisper, not being able to deny him, especially because it’s the truth.
Logan will do anything to help Anna, even if that means pushing her away. Anna will do anything to keep Logan. Is true love enough to overcome everything this couple has thrown at them?
“I’ll always chase away your demons, baby.”
“Maybe one day you will let me chase yours away.”

This book was absolutely AMAZING! If you’ve read the Men of Honor Series you are familiar with the characters (yes we get to see Jax, Sawyer, Cade, Cooper, and the girls again! YAY!!) but this book has definitely taken KC’s writing to the next level for me. I purposely read slower because I didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to see what else KC has in store for this new spin off series!!
