*Must be read after Vacant to fully enjoy this novel
I just love this series. This is a novella to the Empathy series which goes deeper into the lives of Ryan and Cereus.
I knew Cereus was like Ryan. Ryan knew she was like him, but I didn’t know just how deep and dark it went. I honestly cant say too much without spoiling the other books. You must read the other books before reading this or you will have no idea which way is up. Honestly you may read them and still have no idea which was is up considering just how deep, dark and twisted this goes.
When I read the first Empathy novel (Blake’s book) I instantly wanted to know more about Ryan. The more you read the more you wanted. Both their stories are captivating. They are dark and sad to a point. Even though this is fiction, there are people who live and think this way. They are affected by something that they cannot control. Ker has an amazing talent being able to pull you into their world and take you for a wild ride.
Should you read this? In my opinion, Yep. Will you love it? Depends. If you like Dark reads then you must check out the Empathy Series. But be prepared, it’s deliciously dark.
I really enjoyed this novella. A great addition to an already great series. 4 Stars ~ Shera
I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
