I am a Rosemary Beach Series lover through and through. The Best Goodbye is Captain and Rose’s story. It’s a sweet story and another great addition to the Rosemary Beach Series.

River “Captain” Kipling is in Rosemary Beach preparing for the opening of an upscale restaurant. He has quite the interesting past and is attempting to move on to be a better man from the life he has been living. He seems like he has an unbreakable wall around him, but it’s there because of tragedy, because of the past. The only good in his life was Rose….then she left and Captain got lost in everything and it was nothing good.

Rose Henderson was once in love with Captain. Her only love was with this man when they were teenagers. She is strong and brave while still being vulnerable at the same time. Rose decides to work at his restaurant in disguise to see just who and what he has become. So much has changed in the 10 years they have been apart and she needs to know if this is the same man she was once in love with. Unfortunately, she comes to find out that he surely is not that person anymore.

Captain figures out who she is just as she’s ready to leave Rosemary Beach. He knows that she is way too good for him now but will that stop him from going after what he wants? Can a love from 10 years ago be found again or will it be a forever goodbye?
