TE Black broke my heart and mended the pieces repeatedly throughout this book. I absolutely LOVED it!

He has secrets that threaten to ruin not only him but his budding relationship with the new receptionist, Shay Kirby. He knows he needs to change his ways but knowing and doing are two very different things. What happens when life gets harder before it gets better? Shay Kirby is the perfect heroine! She is a single mom that will do anything she needs to in order to protect her daughter. She wants what every girl wants – the fairy tale, Prince Charming, happily ever after. She’s been knocked down and kicked around but now is her time to shine. Like Trent, Shay has secrets of her own. Secrets she will do anything to keep from the man she is falling in love with.

Shay, Trent, and Abby are amazing! Abby adds that child like freshness to even the most serious situations. I also loved seeing Callie and Mac again!
