Aleatha, Aleatha, ALEATHA!!!! The end of Betrayal had my heart pounding, my mind spinning and me re-reading the last few chapters. The whole book was amazing but when I knew it was almost over… I didn’t want it to be so I kept going backwards because it was just THAT GOOD.
You left a carrot dangling in front of my face and I couldn’t catch it. Leaving me like that was such a “Cunning” thing to do. Thank god the “Betrayal” didn’t last too long because before I knew it I had my grabby hands back on Nox. Which is a good thing because I was having serious withdraws from all things Nox and Alex.
I won’t go into any details about what you get in this book. Just know this. This is one of those series where you don’t mind cliffhangers. It is one you don’t want to end, so you will keep chasing that damn carrot till your little feet fall off. You don’t mind being kept on the end of your seat, because while you get answers, you find yourself with another question. You get mind blowing steamy sexy, but you lust for more. You swoon, you fall and then your mouth falls open with the big “O” because you have another piece to the master puzzle and well maybe another reason *wink*.
Aleatha continues to knock homeruns over the wall like it’s nobody’s business. This woman can write. I mean she CAN WRITE! I loved Betrayal but I loved Cunning even more. I am pretty sure I want my own Nox. Not the furry one she has always by her side, he is cute and all but I want Lennox Demetri. Gahhhhh!
This series is utterly addictive. The suspense, mystery, what if’s and the ultimate betrayal are all things you will find in this book. It’s seriously sexy, swoony and enough twisted mind games to keep you on your toes the entire time. I am one of those readers that absolutely LOVES to be left on the edge of her seat. Leave my mind whirling, I don’t mind one single iota. To say I loved this book is an understatement. I breathed this book and you will too, once you get your little finger clicking to buy it! Trust me. Don’t procrastinate…Nox wouldn’t like that because that would be pure “Deception” which is coming your way in May!
