Platinum is finally here!  After the holy wow what just happened ending of Emeralds, we finally get to know what happened to heart broken devastated Trihn.  My oh my the wait was worth it and what a wonderful conclusion to her story it is!

Trihn….My sweet Trihn.  I honestly thought you were doomed to have every single bad thing happen to you.  First Neal, to jerkwad Preston, sprinkled with a little topping of insanity from her sister, I felt like the hits were going to keep on coming and they do BUT there is a light at the end of that tunnel and that light’s name is Damon.

Damon is a sexy, sweet and incredibly talented British DJ. When he would talk, I could almost swoon through just from imagining him saying the words I was reading in his sexy accent.   He was able to break through Trihn’s well built up walls from the devastation not only from Neal, but then Preston and the betrayal from her sister on top of that to at least earn her attention. Trihn forever doubted the truth, always fearing the worst.  How could she not after what she has been through relationship wise in her life.   He may have earned a piece of her, but could he completely capture her and hold on?

Is she able to let go of what is holding her back, fully fall and trust Damon.  Or will her jealousy and suspicion ruin what could be the best thing to happen to her?

My nerves were seriously on a level 10 of the “I know something bad is coming” hit-o-meter the entire read.  This book was angsty, steamy and had my attention the entire time from start to finish!   4 Stars for Platinum!  Shera
