Layne Carter has loved to sing for as long as she can remember so when her mom hands her a ticket and tells her she is all set to audition on Rising Star, she can’t turn down this huge opportunity for her and her son, Eli.

Beau Tanner is the IT guy in country music. Even someone that doesn’t particularly like country music knows that. The fact that Layne doesn’t even like the music makes her choosing Beau as her coach a little odd but she can’t figure out what it is about him that drew her to him.

Layne and Beau signed contracts. No relationships between coaches and singers. Period. End of story. Certainly a country super star knows he must follow the rules right? 😉

This book was fantastic! Lacey gave the reader the option to select the ending. Door 1, Safe Door, or Door 2, Dangerous Door. You pick how the story ends. You choose the fate of Layne and Beau.
