This is Love, Baby is the conclusion to Baylee and Warren’s story, or is it? *smirk* I thought I would die reading This is War. Well, die in a delicious way because it was just THAT good. So once I finished I was gulping like a fish out of water for This is Love. I needed this book like I needed my next breath!
How far can crazy Gabe go? Just when you think you know what is going on, K has your head twirling around like some poltergeist craziness and you can’t see which way is up anymore. The twists, the turns and surprises just keep on rocking your socks off the whole entire read.
I first fell in absolute love with Warren when I read This is War, Baby (Book 1) . Ugh, I don’t know how I can properly describe him. What is a fitting word? EVERYTHING? Yep, him being “Everything” seems to sum him up. He is complex, different, loving, loyal, fierce, and determined and the kind of guy anyone would be lucky to have. Baylee is such a wonderful heroine. She is strong, loyal, fiery and considering everything this girl has continued to be put through she is still living, surviving the worst imaginable.
Gabe, Gabe, Gabe. *Sighh* While I want to hate that man with all my being I just can’t. I guess it’s the twisted part of me, that won’t hate him. He intrigued me so much in these books, I HAVE TO KNOW MORE! So, I am pining for a book about his crazy pyscho cucumber loving self because this girl is a glutton for punishment I suppose. As long as he leaves those I love alone, we are good. Then we have Justin… Just, uhm, ok wow buddy. I will leave it at that!
I love K’s work, but I really do think this type of read is my favorite from her. While I think This is War was a darker read then This is Love, they both had the element of cringyness and definitely kept your heart pounding the entire time.
That’s really all I want to say about this book. I don’t want to give anything away and so many things could spoil it. Just read this series. Don’t wait. Pick them both up. This is War, Baby and This is Love, Baby are sure to keep your book loving heart pounding! 5 “loving this book hard” Stars!
