So many secrets, questions and puzzle pieces scattered about fill this book. It was one twisted surprise after another. Told from dual POV and past and present tense you are filled in with Kyle and Garin’s entire life starting in the run-down part of Atlantic City, NJ. One night changed EVERYTHING. It literally changed everything and ever since no life has been the same for those involved. When a tragic event brings them back together, it sets the wheel in motion and it only gets more interesting from there.

I loved Garin’s character. He loved, he loved hard and he cared so deeply about those in his life including Kyle. But in this book I think there are no heroes, no heroines. There is no white knight. No queen of the castle. Even when the light peeks through, it is totally snuffed out by the dark. I loved that this book kept me on my toes guessing. I seriously questioned everything that was happening and my mind was left spinning.
