Will Matt and Isabel have a chance to make a real connection beyond their steamy encounters, or will she have to prosecute one of the firefighters, ruining any chance for something more?
Fully Involved is the second book in the Brotherhood of District 23 and it was AMAZING!
Amy Briggs is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! If you haven’t picked up Fired Up yet you definitely should but you don’t have to in order to read Fully Involved. Fully Involved follows Isabelle Cruise and Matt Cavanaugh. Matt is a fire fighter (brother’s with Brian Cavanaugh from Fired Up) and Isabelle is a detective with the local police department. A string of suspicious fires has Isabelle spending a bit more time around the fire department and more importantly around Matt. Neither Matt or Isabelle have ever been relationship people. Married to their respective jobs, the opposite sex has been used when there is an itch to scratch but never anything more. What happens when two very career driven individuals find themselves wondering “what if?”? We get to see Jo and Brian some more (Fired Up) as well as other characters that I hope will be getting books in the future *wink wink*. I absolutely loved the who done it story line – it had me guessing until the very end and all I can say is I never guessed the person responsible. And the heat! Where can you go wrong with a HOT fire fighter and a bad ass detective? I LOVE that Amy writes strong female leads to go with her alpha men. If you’re still reading this – get to one clickin! You won’t regret it! |
