A sweet, rich city girl and a hot, delicious, brooding country boy? Yes PLEASE, if it’s Melanie Harlow giving me the story! Once again, she does NOT disappoint with her newest novel After We Fall. I fell fast, I fell deep and I fell so freaking hard in absolute unwavering love with Jack and Margot!

Margot heads out to the country to help the Valentini brothers with some much needed branding. Only one problem, everyone is on board except Jack. He wants absolutely no part of changing one single thing about the farm, let alone anything in his life. This hot, sexy farmer can’t let go of the past and keeps himself entirely closed off. When Margot shows this country boy that she may be a city gal but she is one who is quick learner, smart and doesn’t mind getting her nails, or those boots dirty it stirs something within him. She surprises him at every turn and despite his very carefully constructed walls, Margot begins to break them down and Jack shows Margot something she’s never felt before.

What happens when those walls start to crumble? Does something beautiful blossom or does it all come tumbling down? Well, you’ll have to read to find out! I laughed, I cried, I swooned. This book had everything you want in a good read to cozy up with and spend the entire day glued to your e-reader. I once again bow down to Melanie Harlow for another brilliant read!
