Lincoln Landry probably even has game-winning stamina.I’d like to screw her and her perfect ass.
Danielle Ashley probably even has a game-changing personality. There’s no denying the chemistry between them. It’s so fiery, it’s undeniable. They partake in it. Enjoy it.
The problem is as tangled up as their sheets.
Swing is book 2 in the Landry family series and follows Lincoln and Ryan (Dani, Danielle).
Lincoln is a pro baseball player through and through. This is his life, his work, his love, and his passion. Until an injury to his shoulder sends him for intense physical therapy. A wrongly pushed elevator button threatens to change the course of his life, and Danielle’s, for good.
Ryan Danielle is the daughter of a former pro baseball player. She grew up watching her parents exist in a loveless marriage and had a childhood in which she was always last in line for her parent’s love and affection.
Danielle wants nothing to do with the life she grew up in. She has tried dating a baseball player before and she won’t do it again. She refuses to have a loveless marriage, and if she has kids, she vows that they will know love. Love between their parents and love from their parents. She will never marry or be involved with a baseball player.
Can Lincoln prove to Danielle that he is not her father or her ex boyfriend? Can Danielle open her heart to the possibility that Lincoln is not the same man that her father is?
Loved, loved, loved this book!! Lincoln – swoon!! Another hit from Ms. Locke!!
Swing is book two in the Landry Family series by Adriana Locke. We first met Lincoln Landry in Sway and I was more than intrigued at that point. I am so glad we finally get to know all things Lincoln!
Swing was everything I expect from Adriana Locke – A Steamy, sexy, swoony and an outright delicious read. Lincoln Landry plays baseball for the Tennessee Arrows and currently is out with an injury. That injury leads him to therapy and after stepping off the elevator onto the wrong floor he runs into the ever sexy Dani. Instantly he’s attracted and so is she, I mean how can you not with this man. That is until she realizes he is exactly what she doesn’t want in her life. She doesn’t want a baseball player. Dani know they are all about the game and everything else comes in second always…Including family.
One thing she didn’t count on is Lincoln’s charm and when she finally gets to know him, she falls. The way he is with kids, the dedication to his family. Lincoln Landry has it all. The question is, can she overcome her aversion to sports players and will Lincoln eventually crack her shell?
Swing is another homerun for Locke. She continues to deliver exceptionally written stories that will suck you in from the very first page. You can’t help but fall in love with each character she gives you and I sit anxiously waiting for her next release knowing it will be a story that I’ll get lost in! Swing is such an amazing sweet, sexy love story. I loved that we got to see Barrett and the rest of the Landry family and I cannot wait for Graham’s story!
5 Swinging to the Stars for SWING!
Why they call it a farmhouse is beyond me. That word paints an image of a little white house with a chicken coop. This is a Southern plantation. A huge, wide porch with pillars looks to encompass the entire place. Mums line whiskey barrels and give the clean exterior pops of burgundy, orange, and yellow. It’s breathtaking.
“This is gorgeous,” I breathe as it comes into full view. “Not what I expected.”
“This is my second favorite place in the world,” he whispers against my ear.
“Second? What could be more perfect that this?”
“Inside you.”
Before he can pull away, I turn my face so my lips capture his. He deepens the kiss, our lips working against one another in perfect harmony. As we pull away, breathless, he grins. “Thank you for coming.”
“I’ll ensure you come later,” I promise.
“Naughty girl,” he chuckles as the car rolls to a stop. “I like it.”
“You will.”
