As with every single Vi Keeland book I’ve picked up and had the utmost pleasure of reading, this was another unputdownable read for me. This author has quickly become one of my must read, go-to authors as she is able to captivate me and hold my attention page after page until the very last turn with her storylines.

I adored Gray and Layla’s story. They met several years ago under unusual circumstances and had an instant connection. Even though Layla bailed after hearing some news about Gray and finally moved on, now we find them years later face to face in an unexpected but very well orchestrated meeting by Gray and there is no denying that attraction is still very much present. Grayson Westbrook is ready to move on with his life and intends to have Layla be a part of it, however Layla is pushing back. Gray is wearing her down because lets be real here, it’s kinda hard to resist the charm of this man once you really see whats underneath it all.

Will they get their second chance or will things prove to be too difficult to overcome for these two? Will all the building up lead to another great fall?

Once again Vi Keeland delivers the perfect balance of angst, with a little bit of suck and a whole lot of sweet. I loved it and I can’t wait to see what she gives us next!
