I seriously loved this book. I mean HELLO, talk about serious COVER love right here, but this book was as delicious inside as it was outside!

This book has it all. It was swoony, sexy, funny, fresh, and the banter with these two characters was just off the charts. I found myself giggling so much, my heart doing cartwheels and me wanting to go book a cabin at the lake.

Heather and Noah were absolute perfection in every sense. I love the way their story unfolded, and it was a slow smoldering burn the whole way through. There may have been a little bit of an age difference between these two but Heather was wiser beyond her years and it didn’t take long for Noah to pick up on that. They seem like an unlikely pair and even though Noah seems to push Heather away with his broodiness, she sees right through him. Noah is keeping Heather at a distance, but the more time he spends at the Lake and with Heather the more he craves her.

When August Ends was certainly one of my favorites from Penelope Ward. Another book by this author that I read in one sitting. I for one NEVER wanted August to end!!!
