*Release Blitz/Review* Chute Yeah (Valentine Boys #3) by Lani Lynn Vale

Candy Ray Sunshine—Yes, that is my real name, thank you very much, Mom and Dad—knew two things.

One, she was going to work her butt off and open her very own coffee shop, even if she had to die doing it.
Two, Banks Valentine was the world’s worst ex-boyfriend in the history of ex-boyfriends. Even if they were only boyfriend and girlfriend for one evening. She wouldn’t sneeze on him even if he was on fire.
***
Banks Valentine also knew two things.
One, he was an immature jerk when he was in high school, and Candy Ray Sunshine probably could open a coffee shop if she put her mind to it. But he still thinks that she should shoot a little higher, anything that gets her the heck out of Kilgore, Texas.
Two, he likes riding bulls. It’s a dangerous job, and when he gets on the back of one of those thousand-pound death machines, he can finally feel his head clear enough that he can think.
***
Candy and Banks would never get along. Not after what he said, and definitely not after what she did.
Then again, neither one of them expected that night to end the way it did, either—the night that both of them refused to talk about the next morning.

Chute Yeah follows Banks Valentine and Candy Ray Sunshine. The story is told in 2 separate parts, the first occurring 15 years ago and the second occurring in present day.

Candy was the nerdy girl in school and Banks was the popular kid, so when Banks accepts Candy’s request to go to prom together you can imagine her surprise. What is meant to be her dream date ends up being unforgettable in a whole different way. What happens to both of them on that night is something that will change them forever.

Candy is in business with Banks’s sister in law and Banks couldn’t be happier about having to see the girl he never got over. When Candy and Desi decide to make some changes to the business and free up some their time, the family suggests that Candy go out on the rodeo circuit to help protect Banks from the women trying to sneak in his trailer at night.

While Candy wants to hate Banks with every part of her being, she can’t. When she hears of women trying to drug him, something changes for her. Rodeo circuit, here she comes.

Life as a rodeo significant other (“fake” or not) isn’t all the glitz and glamour. Can Banks prove to Candy that he is worthy of being trusted with her heart again?

Cute story with appearances from past couples. Bring on Darby!!
