*Release Blitz/Review* Muses & Melodies by Rebecca Yarros

If I can keep Hush Note’s leading guitarist, Nixon Winters, on the straight and narrow for the next six months, I’ll finally get my own band to manage—assuming we don’t kill each other first.

The egotistical, irritating rock star is fresh out of rehab, but it’s obvious his demons followed him home—and now I’m sleeping down the hall. I’ve watched him self-destruct every summer, and with album deadlines and tour dates looming, I can’t let it happen again. My career is in his hands.

But tattoos can’t cover every scar, and I’m starting to see through his trademark, irresistible charm to the damage beneath.

Everyone wants the rock star.
I’m falling for the man.

If he doesn’t let me in,
he’ll never break the cycle—
And when these six months are up,
I might be the one left broken.

Let me start with this is book 3 in a multi-author series. I have not read the first 2 books but followed along just fine. There are some spoilers if you haven’t met the past couples but nothing that you can’t assume (it’s romance here folks – happy endings prevail) but no details.
Nixon was by far one of the most complex characters I’ve read in the recent past. The skeletons in his closest had skeletons of their own. His story is so so so good yall. I’ve sat on this review for days now knowing I have to write something hoping that my words would adequately paint the picture and make you want to read it but clearly I’m not an author so here we go….
Muses and Melodies follows Nixon Winters and Zoe Shannon. Fresh out of a short stint in rehab, Nixon needs to keep it together, for the sake of his career and the careers of his band mates as well. Zoe needs Nix to keep it together because if she can keep him out of trouble, she gets to manage bands of her own, no more of the crappy assistant jobs for her.
What happens when the secret little nest you’ve built is turned upside down and back in to the real world you go?
Check this book out – you won’t regret it.
