*Release Blitz/Review* Southern Heat (Southern #6) by Natasha Madison

Release Date: June 1
Willow

After being left for dead, I was given a fresh start by my knight in shining armor.
My protector.
I never had a family before they took me in.
But I don’t know how to stay or trust.
I always had a bag packed and ready just in case I needed to escape again.
Like they say, old habits die hard.
Being in the shadows is lonely, but lonely is safe.

Quinn
I was the quiet one, the one who stood in the back and watched things unfold. The cowboy who only cared about his horses instead of the glory.
Until I found her fighting for her life. Something inside me shifted, and I couldn’t stop it.
I couldn’t stop protecting her.
I fell in love with her with one look because she was my soul mate.
Even though I knew I couldn’t make her stay.

“I’ve never had anyone sit by my bed before and worry about me. I’ve never had anyone care that I was hurt. I’ve never had anyone give me even an ounce of what he gave me in the little time he’s known me. I don’t even know him, yet I know that if he’s here, I’ll be safe.”
Holy. Crap. Holy. Crap. Holy. Crap. Quinn.
***SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE THAT HAVEN’T READ BOOK 5 ***
Southern Heat picks up right where Southern Heart left off. Mayson and Chelsea are safe but we learned of a new character and victim in crimes that Mayson’s father had completed.
Left for dead, Willow has been alone all of her life. Even when she had parents, she was alone. Quinn is determined not to let that be the case anymore. He wants to show Willow a life and a love like she has never even dreamed of, but is Willow able to open herself up to that? Can she trust another person? Another man?
Quinn has spent his life helping others – from animals to people – if someone or something needed something, Quinn was your guy. He can’t pinpoint why, but even though all of his family is concerned about his involvement with the stranger, he knows this is what he is supposed to do. This is where he is supposed to be.
Willow has been running in one way or another all of her life. Her bag always packed to go. Can old habits be broken by new love? One click now – you won’t regret it!
“I will fight for you … I will fight with you … And I will fight to be with you.”

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
