*Release Blitz/Review* Call It Reckless (Sterling Mill #2) by M.E. Montgomery

From author M.E. Montgomery comes a single dad, small town romance novel set in her Sterling Mill Series.

Bristol Allen has always lived her life one way—full throttle. When two separate accidents end her career, she returns to her childhood home, Sterling Mill, TN to start over. Determined to forge a new life, she takes her skills from the racetrack and opens an auto garage—with a twist. The only thing to cause her to throw on the brakes in her life is the handsome deputy who seems to always catch her doing something he deems reckless. It turns out, the most reckless thing she could do is lose her heart to him and his adorable daughter.

Reid Braxton knows exactly what might happen if you don’t play it safe—you find yourself raising a little girl on your own. He doesn’t know much about how to bring up a daughter, but he’s determined to raise Lexi to be kind, sweet, and gentle—a lady like her mother. When Lexi comes home with a school assignment to interview the newest local business owner of Head to Tow Garage and Salon, Lexi’s immediately enamored with the beautiful, spirited, and stubborn woman he’s gone head to head with more than once.

Despite their differences, there’s no denying their chemistry. But will their attraction hold them together or are they headed for a collision?

*Blog Tour/Review* The Boss Project by Vi Keeland

Title: The Boss Project

Author: Vi Keeland

Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance

Release Date: July 11, 2022

BLURB

The first time I met Merrick Crawford was during my job interview.
Well, technically, I’d met him twenty minutes earlier when he’d barged into a fitting room a few doors down from my appointment.
I yelled. He yelled. After an argument while standing in my bra, I proceeded to smash the door into the gorgeous jerk, trying to yank it shut.
As you might imagine, I was freaked out when I discovered that the rude guy was my potential new boss.
Yet he didn’t seem to recognize me. Or so I thought… Until we wound up bickering again during my interview and he told me to go sniff my armpit.
Okay, so maybe I hadn’t exactly been changing when he walked in on me. In my defense, I’d been stuck on a hot train for two hours and wanted to make sure I didn’t smell.
I obviously didn’t expect to get the job. But somehow an invitation to a second interview arrived in my inbox.
Before I left, I asked to see Merrick. I needed to know why I was even in consideration after our disastrous start.
Turned out, Merrick only wanted to hire me because I was the least competent candidate. It seemed his board was making him fill the position, against his wishes.
I didn’t really want to work in a place where my boss expected me to fail. But I figured maybe I’d enjoy proving him wrong. It was a little thing I dubbed the boss project.
What I wasn’t prepared for was that there would be other things I’d enjoy doing to Merrick Crawford.
Getting involved with the boss wasn’t the smartest choice.
But you know what they say about choices: Some we regret, some we are proud of. I just had no idea where this one was going to land.

I really feel like a broken but in the BEST way record when I write reviews by this author.    I honestly love every single book she’s put out in this bookish loving world for us readers!    I adored both Evie and Merrick so,so much!  And Kitty, Kitty is a woman that I could only wish was my grandma, oh the fun we would have getting into to trouble.  She was a fiesty, fiery lady that loved with her whole being and really brought this book full circle.

The Boss Project was certainly a slower burner but not a slow feel while reading.  It had everything you want and expect when picking up one of Keeland’s books.   Evie and Merrick both struggled letting go and letting themselves fall into one another because of their pasts.  Their chemistry was undeniable from the get go and watching them both open up through the book just warmed my heart.  They may have been nudged along the way a bit by a certain fun lovin lady.  As always it wasn’t an easy, smooth paved road for either them with lots of bumps along their ride but oh what a sweet ride it was.   Their initial meeting may have gone completely “Cherry Pittin” wrong, but the ending was Oh So Right!  Another Vi Keeland favorite for me and one of my top sizzlin’ summer reads!

Vi Keeland is a #1 New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Bestselling author. With millions of books sold, her titles are currently translated in twenty-seven languages and have appeared on bestseller lists in the US, Germany, Brazil, Bulgaria and Hungary. *Release Blitz/Review* My Scorned Best Friend (The Greene Family #7) by Piper Rayne

Xavier and Clara kissing in a tree…

When your best friend growing up is a girl, that’s the song your classmates taunt you with over and over again. But it was never like that… until now.

It’s always been Clara and me. She’s the only one who truly knows me. After I was drafted into the NFL and ended up the starting quarterback for the San Francisco Kingsmen, I begged her to come with me. But she had her own life and responsibilities back in our small Alaskan town, so I didn’t fault her for staying.

We remained the best of friends despite the distance. I’d hang with her in Alaska during the off season, and she’d visit me in California while I was playing. Then, one night the lines blurred for the briefest of moments and set in motion a series of events that changed everything.

I’m not proud of the decisions I made after that fateful night, and I plan on making amends, because I need Clara back in my life. But not as my best friend—as my everything.

*Release Blitz/Review* Tease (Cloverleigh Farms #8) by Melanie Harlow

I didn’t mean to say I was engaged to a hot billionaire–it just slipped out.

TEASE, an all new steamy fake engagement, small town romantic comedy from USA Today and #1 Amazon bestselling author Melanie Harlow, is now available!

I didn’t mean to say I was engaged to a hot billionaire–it just slipped out.

In my defense, I’d had a really bad haircut, a really strong drink, and I was trying to save face in front of the Mean Girl at my high school reunion.

Lucky for me, I happen to know a hot billionaire. Hutton French and I have been friends forever, and even though big social gatherings are not his thing, I called him from the coat closet and begged him for a favor–show up and play my fake fiancé for the night.

Except that word of our engagement spreads like wildfire. Our families are ecstatic. We’re front page news. My little food blog is launched into the stratosphere.

Of course, I offer to set the record straight right away, but Hutton wants to give it a little time–the phony engagement will keep his matrimony-mad mother and every matchmaking granny in town off his back.

He even suggests I move in with him to make the ruse more real.

And we don’t stop there.

We practice kissing. Undressing each other. Saying things–and doing things–we’d never dare if we weren’t pretending. Because it’s all for show, right? We’re just role-playing. Hutton doesn’t want a real relationship, and I don’t want to get hurt. But the more time we spend faking it, the more I start to wonder.

Could Hutton French and I actually be right for each other, or is it all just one big tease?

*Release Blitz/Review* Gage (Pittsburgh Titans, #3) by Sawyer Bennett

Gage: A Pittsburgh Titans Novel
Sawyer Bennett
Release Date: July 5, 2022

Read the first THREE chapters of Gage

Veteran player Gage Heyward retired from the league following a successful career. Now the Titans need him, but does he have what it takes to get back on the ice and pull this team together?

After achieving the goals I set for myself, I walked away from my professional hockey career. It was a tough decision, but the right one at the time. When the Titans organization approached me about joining the team they were rebuilding following a devastating plane crash, I felt a passion for the game and a competitive spirit I hadn’t felt in years. The opportunity to make a huge difference to a lot of people spoke to me, and I accepted their offer and headed to Pittsburgh without a second thought.

Jenna Holland is also new to town, having moved from Phoenix to Pittsburgh to take a job with the Titans. Her past has left her with scars—both physical and emotional—and she’s slow to trust others. But the more I learn about Jenna, the more I want to know. The more I need to know. Because the beautiful blonde with honey gold eyes and a wall around her heart has me enamored.

My game on the ice is the best it’s ever been, but it’s my game off the ice I’m focused on these days. Because while Jenna may not be willing to take a chance, I know the potential is there for something big. Something life changing. Now I just need to convince her to take the shot.
