Shera Layn – Owner of Book Lovers Obsession

Hi I am Shera Layn 🙂  I started this Blog February 2014 and it’s been a whirlwind.  I love this community!!  I am a mom, wife and work full time while running this blog.  For now its just me and I am a busy bee.  I love books, I love to Read and I LOVE the people that take the time and dedication to write what I most enjoy in life and that is why I am here to support them to the best of my ability.  I am a one click addict, not a one book boyfriend kinda of girl (yep I am an official #bookwhore).   Other than reading I love spending time at the beach and with friends and family.

Favorite Books?  Well, I love all types.  I like a good book mixed with romance, angst, mystery, hot sex (wanna throw in some bdsm even better) and it doesn’t always have a HEA.  While every girl loves a HEA, lets be honest, some stories just aren’t going to get there.  That’s just the way it goes girls, not every story is going to end with a wedding, a baby or a life being saved.  If that happened then every book would be the same and who wants that? Hi I’m Kristin and I’m a book addict. I live in Minnesota with my husband and our black lab, Bear. No kids yet, but maybe some day. I work in orthopedics and I love my job (for reasons others than it funds my book addiction!)! I also do volunteer work for families of fallen military members since my brother was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2008 while stationed in San Diego with the US Navy. I like most young adult romance but particularly small town, military, sports, second chance stories. My list of favorite authors grows all the time! If I’m not reading or at work I’m probably out fishing with my husband or spending time with family and friends. I am a die hard Pittsburgh fan through and through! Anything else you want to know just ask – I’m a relatively open book!
