Author: Chelsea Camaron
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: June 9, 2014

Synopsis
Events happen in life that can awaken our truest and deepest desires. They also show us our greatest fears. Sometimes we are forced to face those fears, other times we build walls that can’t be broken to protect ourselves.
A profound connection these two once shared. A strong friendship once formed was shattered. Fate has stepped in and shaken both their worlds.
The danger, the wild, the chaos, and the lifestyle of the Hellions world has become far too much for Savannah ‘Sass’ Perchton. Swearing off bikers and attempting a ‘normal’ life, she has settled. She’s committed to Nick, her country club, pretty boy. She’s found a way to be content.
Things aren’t always what they seem. Wrap an empty box in pretty paper and a bow, it may look amazing, but it’s still a hollow shell.
He’s a Hellions playboy. A different chick in his bed, off on a different ride, and always something new. He’s Frank the ‘Tank’ Oleander, Haywood’s Hellions Road Chief. Throttle down and life is good.
The fast pace of the Hellions life catches up to him. At a crossroads, he’s forced to face some life changing thoughts or succumb to the darkness of death. Teetering on the brink of giving in, her voice is all he’s holding onto. The coma he can’t pull himself out of, but her voice is the light in the darkness. He wants the girl who pulled him through when his life was literally in the balance.
She’s sworn off bikers. Can he pull through? Can she ever see past the lifestyle to the heart of the man behind the cut? Will they find their Forever Ride?
Ashley’s Review 4.5 Stars!
Savannah ‘Sass’ Perchton is a Hellions MC princess. With everything that happened to her and her best friend, Delilah ‘Doll’ Reklinger, she has decided that she is done with the MC lifestyle. She thinks that she isn’t strong enough to deal with everything that comes with being with a Hellion, so she tries a “normal” relationship with Nick.
Frank the “Tank” Oleander is known in the MC as a lady’s man. He isn’t what he thinks is ‘relationship material’ so he always has a new bar fly in his bed. Tank serves as Road Chief to the Hellions transport business and always helps his brothers whenever he can, even if it means putting himself in danger. Helping protect his brothers, Tank ends up in the cross hairs and in a coma fighting for his life.
Sass is the only one that keeps Tank fighting in his coma to wake up. Giving up everything related to the MC to please Nick, she has to give up waiting for Tank to wake up and move on with her life. While in the coma, we get flashbacks of Tank’s life and how he became to be a Hellion. We learn about how he wasn’t dealt a good hand in life, but he wants more than anything to help and support his family with the help of Roundman, the Hellions President.
“Life may hand you a shit deal in the cards, but you have to show that motherfucker no one controls you. Rise above it, boy. Make something of yourself, your mom and your sisters.”
While trying to leave her life behind and please Nick, Sass completely loses herself. She starts going by her real name, Savannah, which she has never done before. She changes her job, appearance, and even mannerisms to keep Nick happy and to have a normal relationship and life. Is that the life that is really best for Sass though?
“The more I look around, the more I take in the loss of me.”
I have to say, this was not your normal MC book. It was more of a love story with a side of bikers. I wish that more of Sass and Tank’s story from before his coma had been touched on so that I could have connected with their relationship more. It almost just seemed as though they were fighting to be together, but it’s hard to say why since they had only slept together once in the first book in the series. Also, there was no hot sex in this book, like at all, which shocked me. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars. I just wish the story wasn’t so gloomy.
