One handywoman.
One single dad.
One set of twins.
And the wall isn’t the only thing being drilled…
I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy. The questions, the stares—the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me.
Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town.
Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me.
On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.
In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs.
I shouldn’t be staying for dinner. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.
And I most definitely should not be kissing my client.
Oops…

Emma Hart continues to blow me away with every single book she writes! First, I just love this cover. Second, I loved what was inside the cover more! I dove into this incredibly hilarious, sweet, and sexy book and I didn’t come up for air until I was finished. This was certainly a rom-com but it was also so much more! The story line here was pure perfection!!
Kali, Brantley and the twins (Eli and Ellie) just seriously stole my freaking heart. I fell in love with these characters FAST and HARD. I even loved the secondary ones also, Especially Jayda and Portia. One could only wish for a friend like Jayda and Mom like Portia!
I am a serious sucker for single dad stories. Single dad of twins? Double bonus, double trouble! Brantley was everything and then some especially the way he handled these two littles. He feels like he is struggling with life, with being a dad especially of these two little fireballs. Doesn’t think love is in the cards for him at this point in life until he opens the door and Kali strolls into his home. Kali was the perfect heroine. Sweet, funny, beautiful and a talented builder. She is full of sass, takes no BS and has a heart of pure gold. The dynamic these two had right from the start was just crazy. You just knew you were in for a wild ride from the start.
Emma Hart is an automatic go to author for me. I have loved every single book she’s written but there was something about this one that just had me saying this is my favorite book from her yet. This was laugh out loud funny, while at the same time heartwarming, endearing and oh so sweet. I just simply LOVED Miss. Fix It!
