Nashoda Rose continues to blow. me. AWAY.  This is my favorite book of hers to date. Don’t get me wrong, I have loved every single one of her books but something about Kai just draws you in, grabs on and doesn’t let you go.  From page one I was captivated right through till the very end.

Perfect Ruin is Kai and London’s story. We first saw a little glimpse of Kai in Torn from You which was Sculpts story, then got to see even more of him in Perfect Chaos which was Georgie and Deck’s story.  Perfect Chaos must be read before this, however I suggest you just grab them all while you’re at it and do it fast so you can hop on this Perfect roller coaster ride with these characters!

I am drawn to the characters that are twisted, dark, I will even go to saw totally F’d up. Those are the ones that suck me in like a hoover and captivate me.  Now, I don’t always want a twisted complicated man but those are the ones I always fall hard for and fall HARD.

In Perfect Ruin we are taken back to before London became Raven.  When she was young, free and a promising future ahead of her.  Before she got tangled up in a web so well woven there was no possible way to escape.  She had not a clue what her father was involved with and when she did instead of trying to leave, she tries to save.

From a very young age Kai has been trained.  Trained to be loyal, obedient and a killer. He was trained to have no feelings and never get attached to anyone.  He is assigned to watch London’s father, but London also came with it.  While watching and always lurking and learning he was drawn to her.   Getting close and watching is one thing. Getting a taste is another.

This assignment for Kai changed everything.

And from there you are led into Nashoda’s world in Perfect Ruin.  I won’t spoil the book for you.  No need to go into deep into the plot and give you play by plays as the only thing you need to know is it is phenomenal, brilliant, captivating, consuming and utterly PERFECT.

Another home run in a very dark ally for Nashoda Rose!!  Kai’s story is like no other.  He has a special place in my heart forever.  I felt like I took a ride back through every book she has written with these characters so much so it’s time for a re-read.  I’m going back to where it all started.  That is what she does to you.  She makes you want MORE and when there is no more currently available, you run right back to the beginning!  6 Perfect Ruin Stars for this one!
