You all remember C-Man…  You know that funny, witty little man running around in the Cape who could make anyone laugh and feel better?  Well he is back, and my oh my what a FINE, sexy grown  man he has turned into.

Unexpected Fate is Cohen and Dani’s story.  While it is very much THEIR story, you get some seriously amazing scenes and fly back through memory lane with Axel and Izzy.  That man will never change.  Over protective as always and the book starts off with a true Axel moment!

Dani has loved Cohen Cage for as long as she can remember.  They’ve always been stuck together like glue since birth, but while Dani has raging feelings for Cohen, it takes him awhile (in typical male fashion) to admit his for her.  Meanwhile Dani gets frustrated tired of the hot and cold, her losing her brains when she’s around him, but that is what Love does to you right?  Let me tell you when these two get together it’s H.O T.  Like off the charts hot.

Now you know this whole story isn’t about chemistry with Cohen and Dani.  We get to revisit a lot of the Corps Security characters and a whole lot of suspense.  There are ups and downs, a true ride. Dani gets some unwelcomed attention, but you know those Corp Security boys would give their lives to protect one of their own without a second chance.   Oh and don’t worry, Corps lovers.  Good old Sway Sway won’t let you down.

Just one of my favorite quotes came from Axel to Cohen –

“Just take a look around you.  Everyone you know has been faced with the challenge in their relationships.  Challenges that, even at the time, felt unbeatable, but if what you had- for however brief before you left- gave you even a sliver of promise that I think it did, then you stop until you fix what’s broken.”

There is nothing like getting to know characters in a book, falling in love with them and then getting to see them come back with their own story.  You take the memory lane rollercoaster ride you’re your reading bits and pieces float back in your head, and with Cohen you can’t help but giggle, make you swoon and make your heart definitely go pitter patter.

In true Harper fashion this book was simply Amazeballs !!!!  The kids of CS and their friends all have stories to tell and I can’t wait to hear every last one of them!!  What a set-up Harper,  for what I am sure of many more delicious stories to come!   5 Amazing Stars!    – Copy provided for honest review, Shera Book Lovers Obsession
