synopsis

I used to imagine that life would be easier, more enjoyable, if I were tall, blond, and supermodel thin. But real life—like the average, every day woman—is full of curves and imperfections, and many opportunities to learn that it’s not the number on the scale that measures the capacity of your heart.

After years of struggling with poor self esteem and too many crash diets to count, I finally got wise—and hired a trainer. With an enthusiastic push from my brother’s fiancé and more motivation than a Joel Osteen sermon, I, Madeline “Leni” Moore, am ready to ditch the oh-woe-is-me act.

That is, until I smack head-on into a tree and collide with him. Lane Sheffield is the guy you drool over from afar. One look at him the first day on the runner’s track, and my panties are up in flames. He’s out of my league. Slim, sleek, and athletic to my plump, dull, and unfit. Lane has no reason to like me, but to my utter shock . . . he does and this newfound attention from the opposite sex has me all sorts of baffled.

What starts out as a healthy journey to lose some of the extra me, turns into a quest to find my true self. Will the need to fit in and finally have someone to call my own lead me to my weight loss goal or my happiness goal? I’ve focused so long on being skinny, what will it take for me to learn the ultimate lesson—that beauty is only skin deep?

Shera 5

Moore to Love was MORE than fantastic! Faith Andrews to me is always a feel good author. Her writing style is just one you can’t help but love. While writing about an everyday hot topic such as weight struggles and insecurities, she was able to make me love myself more from her words.

Leni has struggled with weight her entire life. She never felt pretty enough, thin enough, good enough. When she finally found something she loved, which was making people look more beautiful it gave her sense of worth. But what poor Madeline (Leni) Moore didn’t realize is she has more worth in her pinky then most do in their entire body. She has an awesome life, more than awesome friends ( Can I borrow Tatum and Ashley?) and an amazing supportive family.

Getting ready for her brother’s wedding, she didn’t want to look back and hate her pictures. Just like any woman, no one wants to look back through albums and not like what they see. She starts exercising and training. She found a new love running and that’s where she runs into Mr. Fancy Pants. Literally. Thinking back to that particular part makes me giggle and my heart smile big.

Lane is hot, sweet, sexy and just everything you would want in man. He never seems to not want to talk about himself but that’s ok because I totally fell head over heels with in love with him and with Leni. However just like Leni, I wanted to know all things Lane. I admit I have a serious girl crush on this fierce, determined beautiful soul that is Leni. I love her friends, her family. I loved every single character in this entire book. I REALLY loved Lane!

Moore to Love warmed my heart. It soothed my soul and made me smile ear to ear. Leni is just a fantastic character and so is Lane. The words flowed, the story was flawless and to me, this might have been one of my most favorite Faith Andrews books yet! 5 “ Love this MOORE” Stars !

Heather’s 5 Star Review!!!

What a fantastically amazing book! It kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. This book is definitely a MUST read!!!!

“Fix it, Pain. She’s worth it. “

Sidney lives with her mother who is very abusive. She starts off with beatings and eventually starts with bleach baths and just plain out tortures Sidney. One morning Sidney finds her mother dead on the floor. That was the start of her new life. Sidney was home schooled so she has no social or job skills. She finds a job taking care of an elderly lady during the day. In return she gets a small paycheck and an apartment.

One day Sidney meets Liam. He’s her next door neighbor. They became fast friends and Sidney finds herself falling in love with Liam. At the last minute Liam “moves” breaks Sidneys heart. A few days later she hears noise coming from Liams old apartment.  When she runs over and knocks on the door she gets the shock of her life. She thinks Liam is back but really it’s Lane, Liams twin brother. You can tell from the minute Lane and Sidney meet that they belong together. You’ll have to read the book to get the full story. All I can say is there are so many emotions and shockers that you’ll be on the edge of your seat.

“She is everything.

 She is life.

She is death.

She is the light.

She is the darkness.

She is my happy.

She is my sad.

She is my love.

She is my reason.

She is Sidney.”

This book is absolutely 5 STARS! I wish I could give it 10!! K. Webster, you have a new fan!
