I’ll start off like I have every other time and say I am a HUGE Nashoda Rose fan.   I keep telling myself with each book Nashoda writes that “Wow, that was the best one yet.  I am blown away.”  Well ladies and gentleman, I will say it again. Her writing just continues to intensify into a magnificent crescendo.  Each one of her books is more powerful than the last.  She digs deep and puts her heart into these stories and it shows. She never ceases to amaze me; her talent shines through in each word.  Congratulations Nash on another piece of perfection!

Haven’s past is horrific, much like her brother Ream.  Separated from him for years, she finds her way back and is now attempting to move on with her life.  One problem, the past seems to be stuck on her front doorstep and she can’t take the step outside.  Small things trigger her memory and when that happens she is basically paralyzed with fear.   She escapes by running, her attempt at feeling numb.  Regardless of her past, Haven is so strong, brave and determined.  One night in the middle of a storm she decides to take off running to find the quiet, to escape, to find the numb.  The one thing she didn’t count on finding was Crisis out in that muddy field.

Crisis is part of the band Tear Asunder.  A true Rock Star with Tatted skin, a chick magnet, smart, sexy and extremely funny.  Living the rock star life to the extreme.  That’s how life is out on the road.  That WAS how life was until he found Haven in that field that night.  This man is so sweet, so caring and clearly protects those he loves.  You will see so many different sides of Crisis and no matter which direction you look at him, every angle is appealing.

The band was about to head out on tour again soon and he was worried about Haven to the point, he didn’t even want to go on tour.  Haven wanting to hide her pain from her brother Ream who had basically given up his innocence to protect her.  Her keeping her current torment hidden from him was imperative to her and Crisis promised not to tell him on a few conditions.  She had to text him daily.  Answer his calls.  She would have a body guard who would watch her while they were away.  Who would’ve thought that a daily check in, would turn into the banter of what has become Crisis and Haven heaven in my eyes.

“You will break.  One day that cool exterior you’re hiding behind will shatter.  It has to.  It has nowhere to go.  And when it does happen, I intend to be there to help you pick up the pieces.”

And from there it begins…. The story of anguish, hurt, torment, laughs, lust and love.

As if I wasn’t already head over heels for this man, as well as the rest of the band (yep, I freely admit I am Tear Asunder Groupie)  I fell even harder for Crisis after reading this book.

That’s all the clues I will give you as I think everyone should read this book as well as the others in the Tear Asunder series.  You could read as a standalone but I would implore everyone to start at the beginning, get inside the heads of these guys.  Get to know how they all got to the point that they are at now.  You won’t regret it, I promise you that.  Nashoda’s way with words is bar none.  She will put you into the story, into the characters heads and you will feel what they feel.  You will hurt if they hurt and your heart will burst with love when they love.  A Must Read!   Nashoda continues to deliver exceptionally written books and Shattered By You is no different.
