Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day of her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

How do I even put into words what this book made me feel? How do you capture just the right words to do this book justice? JUST HOW CAN I EXPLAIN IT? One. Word. PHENOMENAL!
I was seriously convinced after reading Slammed that no way no how could Colleen Hoover ever top that book. I fell face first into all things Will Cooper. I could eat, sleep, BREATHE Will Cooper. But no, she has managed to do the unthinkable…. (Are we really surprised? Nah) she has managed to give us yet another *As if she hasn’t given us enough options already* Snorts* Unforgettable, Unputdownable, Undeniable character in this story. I should say characters because both Ben and Fallon stole the show.
As soon as Ben sat down at that table in the diner with Fallon and her father he had me at the first flipping word. Hell, he had me at the first thought, first glimpse, just had me at freaking HELLO! I absolutely loved this book to pieces. I loved the broken, the damage, the hurt, the heartbreak, the love. Just ALL the feels. THE FEELS!!
Just when you think, ok I got over that hurdle…. We just got the wham, bam, BOOM in your face shocker, oh no. Be prepared to get back on that plot twist rollercoaster again. The ride CoHo takes you on in this book is one you won’t soon forget. This book is unpredictable in my opinion, angsty and filled with so much love, sprinkled with all-consuming feelings! You will laugh, cry and your heart will physically hurt at times. I won’t bother going into all the details of the book because, well what is the fun in that? No one wants to read a review that spoils the entire plot and this is one where I am not giving one eensy-weensy of a detail because you need to experience this book first hand. You need to fall in love with November 9 on November 10th. You NEED to read this book!
If I could give this more than 5 Stars I would. A million times over. This is one that will stick with me like flippin super glue just as Will Cooper from Slammed has stuck with me all this time. Congrats Colleen and thank you for giving us a beautiful, heartwrenching, epic story of life, loss, love and forgiveness wrapped up in one tidy bow.
